CueInbox

Terms of Service

Last updated 2026-04-21 · Effective v1.10.1+

1. Acceptance

By installing or using CueInbox ("the app"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not install the app.

2. What CueInbox is

CueInbox is a free Android application that reads notifications on your device, prioritises them, and helps you respond to them using an on-device AI model. All processing happens locally on your phone. See our Privacy Policy for the full data flow.

3. Licence

CueInbox is provided free of charge for personal and commercial use on devices you own or control. You may install it on any number of devices you own and use it to process your own notifications.

You may not redistribute a modified version claiming it is official CueInbox, reverse-engineer the binary for the purpose of bypassing or disabling safety checks, or use the app to process notifications intercepted from another person's device without their consent.

The source code is separately licensed on GitHub; see the repository LICENSE file.

4. Open-source components

CueInbox bundles and depends on open-source software, including but not limited to: Google Gemma model weights, Google LiteRT-LM runtime, AndroidX / Jetpack Compose, Room, Firebase Android SDKs. Each is used under its own licence; see the app's Settings → About → Open-source licences screen for the full list.

5. No warranty

CueInbox is provided "AS IS", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee:

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the authors of CueInbox are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the app — including but not limited to missed messages, incorrect replies sent, or data loss.

7. Third-party content

Notifications originate from third-party apps (Telegram, Slack, WhatsApp, etc.). CueInbox does not endorse, review, or warrant the content of those notifications. Your use of those third-party services is governed by their own terms.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced via an in-app notice in the next update. Continued use after the effective date of a change constitutes acceptance.

9. Termination

You may stop using CueInbox at any time by uninstalling it. We reserve the right to stop distributing new versions of CueInbox or to discontinue the project, at which point existing installs will continue to function until they are uninstalled or become incompatible with a future Android version.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the author is resident, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
